1. Will the floor projector enclosure distract me while swinging golf clubs in my simulator?
   
   It may take a few swings, but most customers quickly find that swinging their clubs with a TerraShield floor mount presents no challenge at all. This is especially true if you can position your projector shield slightly in front of your golf mat, off to one side of the golf ball. 
   

2. What is so special about the "Multi-position Tilting System"? Why do I need that?
   
   If you simply place your golf projector on the floor, you will find that the "bottom" of the projected image will appear anywhere from 6"-24" ABOVE the floor on your golf impact screen. Not only does this look unnatural for your simulated golf course, especially when putting, but it may even render your golf screen unusable, since the "top" of the image will likely be positioned 6"-24" above your screen.
   
   This happens because projectors are not designed to begin their imagery at the same level as their mounting surface. They are typically mounted upside down, from the ceiling, on a tilting projector mount, which allows you to tilt the projector to the exact angled needed to align with the top/bottom of your screen.
   
   When you install your projector on the floor, you still need a way to adjust the tilt.
   
   Sadly, 100% of the knockoff floor mounts have failed to adequately address this highly important requirement!

3. How do the materials used in the Original TerraShield compare to the Knockoffs, such as those from Carls, SkyTrak, and others?
   
   The low-quality shields offered by other companies are typically fabricated from  thin metal or cheap flexible plastic materials, which add the need for unsightly bolts and nuts to hold these units together. These design shortfalls result in a flimsy structure with intruding screws and sharp edges both inside and outside the enclosure. And since they offer -no fixed solution- to help you adjust the rear tilt of your projector, you will find yourself wasting time and energy tying to get your projector lined up properly with your screen every time you play golf.
   
   Other cheap knockoffs make no attempt at isolating your expensive projector from the floor. These "one piece" projector floor cases simply sit on top of your projector,  leaving your flooring (carpeting or golf mats), and anything that gets spilled, fully exposed to the heat and electrical energy that is just inside the projector case. Could anyone feel safe with such a risky design? 
   
   By contrast, the Original TerraShield was conceived with the requirement that there be no unsightly bolts or screws to interfere with anything inside the box. We also insisted that the materials in our enclosure delivered solid protection for any projector that our customers entrusted to our shield. And we demanded that the design fully isolate the projector from the floor so as to reduce as much risk as possible. These are some of the reasons why we use much more expensive 3/8" ABS in the all important base and sides, which are welded together using a commercial grade ABS welding agent. Our machining tolerances are strictly kept very close, and the end result is quality that you can feel. 
   
   
4. Do you offer custom sizes for your projector floor enclosures?
   
   Indeed we do! One of the biggest advantages of buying from ALLSPORTSYSTEMS is that we are the manufacturer of our own products. Almost every other golf company is simply reselling mass-produced products, so they do not have the flexibility of offering custom sizes or addressing unique design challenges like we can.
